We are excited to announce that MiaDonna Founder and CEO, Anna-Mieke Anderson was a 2014 recipient of Portland Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 Award.
Anna-Mieke was recognized with an award at a luncheon celebrating the next-generation of influential leaders who are ‘blazing a trail’ in the local business world. Anna-Mieke was not able to attend this year’s luncheon due to being out of the country and sent MiaDonna’s Operations Manager, Nichole McDonough, in her place to accept the award.

MiaDonna CEO Recipient of Top Forty under 40 Award
PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 13, 2014) – The Portland Business Journal has released its annual Forty under 40 Awards recipient list. With over 370 nominations submitted, Anna-Mieke Anderson, Founder and CEO of MiaDonna & Company is honored to have made this year’s list.
Today Anna-Mieke will be recognized with an award at a luncheon celebrating the next generation of influential leaders who are ‘blazing a trail’ in the local business world. It is also exciting to note that Anna-Mieke is 1 of 9 local leaders being recognized in the sustainable business arena, earning recognition for her work in rebuilding communities that have been affected by the unethical harvesting of mined diamonds.
The Portland Business Journal began honoring 40 up-and-comers under 40 years of age in 2002. This year’s class will grow the alumni list to over 500 people. The award is given to Portland professionals who have excelled in their field; where they have shown tremendous leadership and commitment to their community.

The theme of this year’s event is centered around “Top 40 Hits” as a musical nod to the winners. Along with fun photos and artwork, honorees were asked about their favorite genre of music, band, and song. The awards luncheon will be held at The Nines Hotel | 525 SW Morrison St | Portland OR 97204 | 6th Floor, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and the special print publication highlighting these executives will be available at that event otherwise released on Friday, February 14th.
