MiaDonna simulated diamonds are offered to our customers at 3% of the cost that an earth mined diamond of the same level of perfection would be sold at. All our engagement rings and wedding rings are set with hybrid diamond simulants in sizes .25 carats and larger. Natural diamonds in sizes of .15 carats or smaller are used to accent our beautiful rings. We also offer our customers the option to accent their MiaDonna jewelry with the finest CZ available if they wish to lessen the cost and remain completely man made.
All our hybrid simulants can come with an official grading card from the Global Gemological Laboratory. This third party grading report rates your MiaDonna simulated diamond using the identical qualifiers used to rate earth mined diamonds and the GGL confirms our claims to have an infusion of man made diamond on the outer layer of our hybrid stone. Miadonna diamond simulants cut glass just like earth mined diamonds, but then again so does CZ. Every simulated diamond at MiaDonna is guaranteed for life against loss of brilliance, coloring, clouding and fading. All MiaDonna diamond simulants come in a D to F in color, VVS1 to VS2 in clarity and rate a 1 to 2 on the AGS cutting scale or otherwise described as an excellent to very good cut. The index of refraction of an earth mined diamond is 2.42 and the fire light dispersion is 0.044. Because the MiaDonna simulated diamond has an outer layer of infused diamond, its index of refraction(2.42) and Fire/light dispersion(0.044) is optically identical to a natural diamond.
